John Dayton, Michael Tremont and Brenda Regan worked many years together before opening Dayton & Tremont. John, Michael and Brenda share many of the same values and ethics which have created a great working atmosphere.

In the early 1970s John’s parents purchased a Vineyard in the Alexander Valley where he spent his childhood. In 1990, after graduating from College in the Bay Area John returned to Healdsburg and began selling real estate. Since he began in the business, he developed an extensive knowledge of the area in addition to the experience gained from the many transactions in which he has been involved. John Dayton specializes in the sales, leasing, management and development of residential and commercial real estate.

Michael Tremont spent 10 successful years in Sonoma County real estate with Coldwell Banker before merging with John Dayton (formerly Dayton & Cross),  now Dayton & Tremont.  Their shared vision is to carry on the firm’s trusted reputation.  Collectively Dayton & Tremont bring over 30 years of real estate experience to the Healdsburg area.

Michael Tremont originally hails from suburban Chicago.  Family connections and an interest in the entertainment business took Michael to Los Angeles where he met his wife who grew up in Healdsburg. Michael loved his visits to Sonoma County so much that it influenced the family’s decision to move to Healdsburg to raise their two children.  He was president of the Active 20-30 Club, on the board of the Santa Rosa Chapter of Realtors and is actively involved in the St. John’s School Dad’s Club.  Michael has a strong sense of community, civic involvement and is dedicated to the lifestyle Sonoma County has to offer.
